Kentucky Senate Approves New Nude Dancing Rules

The Kentucky Senate passed a bill to put restrictions on nude dancing operations that would keep the dancers a specified distance away from patrons.

The measure would require that the dancers be at least six feet away from patrons, and that the dancers perform on an elevated platform.

The provisions were attached by a Senate committee to a House-passed bill that dealt with the state’s theft by deception law.  The revised bill passed the full Senate later in the day. 

The bill now returns to the House, which will consider the changes made by the Senate.

Eurovision 2010 Update: Flash Mob Mania To Hit Oslo And Düsseldorf

Eurovision 2010 has announced the first city outside of Norway where the flash mob mania will hit; On the 23rd of April, Düsseldorf’s Burgplatz is the place to be!

Peter Svaar, Head of Press for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of host broadcaster NRK, said: “We want to share the Eurovision Song Contest, rather than just broadcast it. With 18,000 people live on location in Oslo dancing, plus video footage of large flash mob groups from ten major cities, the song, the movements, the arena, and all the cities will share a common musical experience together.”

World’s First Naked Ceilidh Set For Edinburgh

The world’s first naked ceilidh is to take place in Edinburgh later this month.

Organisers are looking for people over the age of 18 “of every shape and size” to bare all at the event in the Capital’s new traditional Scottish pub and ceilidh venue, Ghillie Dhu. Dances suggested include strip the willow and the “flashing” white sergeant.

The Sunday 28 March event is the brainchild of photographer Alistair Devine, and will also form the third in his series of “naked-art photo-shoots”.
